Advent The liturgical year of the Church has come to an end and the new year has begun with the season of Advent … We embrace this season that prepares us for Christmas – when Christ’s first coming to us is remembered and we look forward in hope to His second coming at the end of time. Joyful expectation is the attitude the Holy Spirit invites us to enter into, bringing Hope , Faith, Joy and Peace to guide us through this time of grace.
Advent Service of Reconciliation The Communal Celebration of the Sacrament of Reconciliation will be on Wednesday 17th December at 7pm at Holy Family, for our Family of Parishes. Get it in your diary and make sure you don’t miss this wonderful experience of God’s forgiveness! Reconciliation is what God does… Receiving it and celebrating it - is what we do.
Christmas begins with Midnight Mass and ends on the Feast of the Baptism of the Lord on Sunday 11th January 2026
